8th Annual Commit to be Fit 5k/10k Run/Walk- Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 8:00 am
Here’s an event you won’t want to miss. The run will start at the Indian Boundary YMCA; the course is somewhat flat and fast on paved streets and through a picturesque wooded neighborhood.
Entry Fees:
$22 Pre-registration at IBY YMCA
$25 Race day registration
$10 Children ages 6–12
$10 One Mile Fun Walk/Run
FREE for children age 5 and under
Additional events include: FREE kiddie dash, fun 1 mile walk at O’Neill field for all ages.

Annual Golf Outing-Auction Special Fund Raising Event - Monday, June 30, 2008
Get those clubs cleaned and join us for our popular "Chip-in' 4 Kidz" annual golf outing and auction event held this year at the prestigous Bolingbrook Golf Club. This day is sponsored by The Ronald L. McDaniel Foundation and includes a lively round on the links, lunch, dinner, dancing, live & silent auction, raffle baskets and entertainment. Tax Relief Day - Wednesday, April 16
Did the Tax season leave you taxed out? Are you looking for a little stress relief? Stop by the YMCA for innovative workouts and a chance to win a three month membership.
Birthday Party Packages
Come celebrate your child’s special day with us. Memories of fantastic birthday parties last a lifetime!
Basic Party Package :
Fee: $110 Member/$160 Program Member
Parties consist of one hour in an activity and then one hour in a private party room. The Y will provide all the tableware. You provide drinks and food. Maximum of 15 kids. Party activity options include:
- Preschool Gym
- Pool
- Sports
- Gymnastics
- NEW! DDR (Dance, Dance, Revolution)
- Climbing Wall
(1–8 climbers): $110 Member/$160 Program Member
(9–14 climbers): $160 Member/$185 Program Member
Deluxe Party Package:
Fee: $155 Member/$195 Program Member - Maximum of 15 kids
The deluxe party will include crafts and an activity. Pizza and tableware will be provided, and the birthday child will receive a birthday t-shirt. Themes and activities for deluxe parties include:
- Sportwall
- Princess Party
- Sports Party (including time in the field house to play the sport of your choice)
- Dinosaur Party
You must have a signed release from each participant’s parent or legal guardian on the day of the party. Designated party times on weekends are: Saturday and Sunday, 1:30–3:30 pm and 3:30-5:30 pm. To schedule a birthday party, contact Amy Marzullo at (630) 929-2417.
